We are pleased to inform you of an important update from the Embassy of France in India. Effective 10 April 2026, Indian nationals holding ordinary passports are no longer required to obtain an airport transit visa when transiting through French airports, provided they remain in the international zone during their layover en route to a third country.

This change follows the recent announcement and decree published by the French authorities, and it significantly simplifies travel procedures for Indian passengers transiting via France.
