Important Update on UK Visa Process

From 25 February 2026, most successful UK visa applicants will receive an eVisa only – a digital record of identity and immigration status.

This change replaces traditional vignettes (visa stickers in passports) for most visa types.

Applicants must create a UKVI account to access their eVisa and view their granted permission before traveling to the UK.

Instructions on accessing the eVisa will be provided with the decision notice, including whether a vignette will still be issued.
