Attention:

The VIS computer system will be temporarily shut down from 10:30 PM on February 11, 2026, until 4:30 AM on February 18, 2026.

During this period, visa application reception, processing, and issuance will be suspended at the Consulate General of Italy in Mumbai and VFS centers in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Cochin.

Appointments already scheduled will be rescheduled to minimize inconvenience, with priority given to urgent cases.
